As November draws to a close in Alanya, cracking issues are being observed, especially in Ettinger avocados.

The President of the Alanya Avocado Producers Association, Hilmi Sevilgen, has called on producers to closely monitor their harvest processes. This problem, caused by rainfall, negatively affects both the quality of the produce and the income of the growers. Sevilgen emphasized that Zutano and Bacon varieties also need careful observation, and stated that wild and pollinator varieties can be harvested by the end of this month. For Fuerte avocados, it is recommended to wait until December and January to benefit from price increases.
