Alanya Oral and Dental Health Center is making a difference
November 22nd is World Dentistry Day, and the current week is celebrated as Oral and Dental Health Week. On this occasion, Dr. Dt. Ahmet Emre Uysal, Chief Physician of Alanya Oral and Dental Health Center, made special statements to Dim TV.
In our country, November 22nd is observed as World Dentistry Day, and the current week is celebrated as Oral and Dental Health Week. This meaningful day was celebrated in Alanya with various events. Dr. Dt. Ahmet Emre Uysal, Chief Physician of the Alanya Oral and Dental Health Center, presented gifts to the staff. Speaking to Dim TV about the significance of the day, Dr. Uysal said:
"November 22nd is celebrated as World Dentistry Day, and the current week is recognized as Oral and Dental Health Week. Our dentists work with dedication to provide healthcare services to our patients. Together, we went through the pandemic period. During that time, our dentists worked tirelessly in the field. Afterward, they continued to serve in our Oral and Dental Health Center. On this meaningful day, I congratulate my colleagues, dentists, and all healthcare professionals working in our center on Oral and Dental Health Week."
WE OFFER A WIDE RANGE OF TREATMENT OPTIONS
Dr. Uysal emphasized the extensive treatment options available at the Alanya Oral and Dental Health Center:
"At the Alanya Oral and Dental Health Center, we operate with 58 dentists, including 13 specialists. Among them, we have 3 pediatric dentists (pedodontists), 2 specialists in oral and maxillofacial surgery, 1 specialist in oral and maxillofacial radiology, 3 specialists in periodontology (gum diseases), 3 prosthetic dental treatment specialists, and 1 orthodontist. Last week, an endodontist (root canal treatment specialist) joined our team. With this wide range of specialists, we provide extensive services to the public. We offer almost all necessary treatments for oral and dental health, ranging from simple fillings to root canal treatments, pediatric dentistry, dental implants, extraction of impacted teeth, and oral cyst surgeries. Our gum specialists perform minor surgical treatments in the oral cavity. In terms of dentistry, we provide our patients with very comprehensive treatment options."
WE ARE THE CENTER OF THE EASTERN REGION
Dr. Uysal noted that the center accepts patients not only from Alanya but also from surrounding cities and districts:
"The Alanya Oral and Dental Health Center can be described as the main oral and dental health center of Antalya's eastern region. We accept patients from districts such as Gazipaşa, Anamur, and Gündoğmuş. In addition to nearby districts, we also have patients coming from neighboring provinces."
WE AIM TO INCREASE OUR SERVICE CAPACITY
Speaking about planned projects, Dr. Uysal said:
"Currently, we are providing services with one physician at our clinic in the Türkler neighborhood. We plan to increase its service capacity. We already have a local operating room, and we are in the planning process of turning it into a general operating room, especially for disabled and pediatric patients. If we can implement this project, it will be a significant contribution to our patients."
