Young pharmacologist award to ALKU academician

An academic from Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) has received the "Prof. Dr. R. Kazım Türker Young Pharmacologist Encouragement Award."
Dr. Dilara Nemutlu Samur, a faculty member from the Department of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medicine at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ), has been awarded the "Prof. Dr. R. Kazım Türker Young Pharmacologist Encouragement Award" by the Turkish Pharmacology Society.
Scientists at ALKÜ continue to receive awards for their achievements both nationally and internationally. Dr. Dilara Nemutlu Samur, a faculty member from the Department of Pharmacology at ALKÜ's Faculty of Medicine, was awarded this prize for her innovative work in the field of pharmacology. This award is given annually by the Turkish Pharmacology Society to young pharmacologists who stand out for their innovative research. Dr. Samur received her award from the President of the Turkish Pharmacology Society, Prof. Dr. Alper B. İskit, during the 33rd Intergenerational Scientific Interaction Symposium on Pharmacology, which was held in Kemer, Antalya. At the symposium, six speakers presented their scientific work. The award ceremony took place at the "Turkish Pharmacology Society Prof. Dr. Alaeddin Akcasu Intergenerational Scientific Interaction in Pharmacology Symposium."

The award is given to contribute to the development of independent, highly motivated scientists and to strengthen the cooperation between science and industry. Dr. Dilara Nemutlu Samur received the award for her work titled "Investigating the Beneficial Effects of the TLR2/S100B/RAGE Axis on Rotenone-Induced Enteric Neuroinflammation in the Parkinson’s Disease Rat Model and Enteroglial Cell Line." Dr. Samur expressed her gratitude to all those who helped her achieve this award, including ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan and her professors, and promised to continue her work.
