Student Motivation Seminar for Study Center Teachers

A seminar on "Student Motivation" was held for teachers at the Fahri Gürses Study and Support Education Course and the Payallar Şehit Aybüke Teacher Study and Support Education Course, organized by Alanya Municipality.

The Education Academy of the Alanya Municipality Social Assistance Department continues to organize training programs to support teachers' professional development. As part of these efforts, a seminar was conducted at the Fahri Gürses Study and Support Education Course by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Uslu, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ). Alanya Municipality’s Advisor on Social Policies, Faruk Konukçu, also attended the event and shared insights on the educational process.

Teaching Techniques Discussed

Before planning the seminar, the Education Academy of the Social Assistance Department conducted a survey among teachers to determine the most needed training topics. Based on the results, the "Student Motivation" seminar was designed, in which Prof. Dr. Mustafa Uslu addressed methods to enhance students' intrinsic motivation, strategies for creating effective learning environments, and teaching techniques that support motivation. At the end of the seminar, Advisor Faruk Konukçu expressed gratitude to Prof. Dr. Mustafa Uslu for his contributions. It was announced that the Education Academy will continue to provide professional development programs for teachers after Ramadan.
