Illegal Dumping of Construction Waste Caught on Trail Cameras in Alanya

In Alanya, individuals illegally dumping construction debris and excavation waste have been identified using trail cameras installed by the Municipal Police Department.

Alanya Municipality continues its inspections to prevent environmental pollution and protect nature. Over the past week, officers from the Municipal Police Department detected six vehicles engaged in illegal dumping of construction debris and excavation waste using strategically placed trail cameras. The vehicle owners caught on camera have been fined in accordance with the relevant regulations.

MAYOR ÖZÇELİK: NO TOLERANCE FOR ILLEGAL DUMPING

Emphasizing the importance of protecting nature and the environment, Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik stated that they are determined to combat any activities that harm the city’s ecosystem. He noted that trail cameras have been installed at various locations and are being monitored by the municipal police. Mayor Özçelik said, “We will not tolerate illegal dumping of construction waste and excavation debris under any circumstances. Protecting our environment is a shared responsibility. Our inspections will continue to increase. I urge all citizens to act responsibly in preserving our surroundings.”
