Representatives from Turkey will meet in Alanya

The Alanya City Council Executive Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of Nurhan Özcan.
The main agenda of the meeting was the organization of the Executive Board meeting of the Turkey City Councils Platform (TKKP), of which the Alanya City Council is also a member, to be held in Alanya. Social Municipality Conference to Be Held in Alanya
The Municipality of Alanya, Alanya City Council, and the Turkey City Councils Platform are organizing a conference on 'Social Municipality,' which will bring together key figures from across the country. Mayors from different regions of Turkey will participate in this conference, which will delve into the concept of social municipality.
The conference will emphasize the importance of a citizen-focused service model in municipal governance and will share success stories of social municipality practices. Special attention will be given to the critical role social municipalities played during the pandemic, as well as the importance of solidarity and inclusive service models.
This conference is expected to serve as a guide for social municipality policies that can be implemented across various regions of Turkey. MUCAHIT KAYA GIVEN A NEW ROLE: WILL CONTINUE AS CITY POLICIES ADVISOR
At the Alanya City Council Executive Board meeting, Mücahit Kaya, who successfully served as the President of the Alanya City Council Youth Assembly and as a member of the Executive Board for two terms, handed over the presidency of the Youth Assembly due to age limitations. The Alanya City Council Executive Board appointed Mücahit Kaya as the 'City Policies Advisor and Assembly Coordinator.' Alanya City Council President Nurhan Özcan praised Mücahit Kaya's work so far and stated:
"We thank Mücahit Kaya for his dedicated service as the President of the Youth Assembly for two terms. His knowledge and vision will help us play a more active role in Alanya's city management. In the new period, he will continue to work with us as the City Policies Advisor and Assembly Coordinator."
Alanya City Council presented Mücahit Kaya with a plaque of appreciation. With these new structures and organizations, the Alanya City Council will continue to develop more inclusive, democratic, and solution-oriented city policies.
