Russian-speaking ONLINE math tutor. I help with homework, with VPR, and with the OGE. I have been teaching online and offline for 7 years now. My approach is that I am a "friend" who is not afraid to say that he did not understand something, not afraid to ask again or make a mistake. I explain the topic in the language of the child, using specific examples, until the student understands it. Basically, in schools, they are forced to simply cram the material and solve typical tasks. So the child loses the ability for analytical thinking, and if the task is formulated differently, then he will no longer be able to solve it. Therefore, my main goal is to teach the child to learn.
