Description
Uçansu Waterfall (Uçansu Şelalesi) is a picturesque spot in Antalya, Turkey. It is located in the Gündoğmuş district and is fed by the melting waters of the Taurus Mountains. The waterfall is most impressive in spring and early summer. Uçansu Waterfall is situated 58 km from Antalya city center and 95 km from Alanya, in the village of Gebiz. The waterfall has two sections: Upper Uçansu and Lower Uçansu. The water falls from a height of 50 meters, creating natural pools for swimming. The water temperature is up to 15 degrees Celsius. The waterfall is surrounded by ancient plane trees and greenery, attracting nature lovers and photographers. You can enjoy hiking, picnicking, and camping here. There are no restaurants or restrooms, so you need to prepare in advance. Spring (April-May) is the best time to visit when the waterfall is at its fullest. In summer, the water is pleasant for swimming.
