Description
In the center of Alanya, on Şevket Tokuş Street, stands the Atatürk House Museum, a typical Ottoman dwelling from the early 20th century. In 1935, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk visited Alanya and stayed in this house. Later, it was converted into a museum.
The museum immerses visitors in the atmosphere of the early 20th century. Here, personal items of Atatürk are displayed: clothing, accessories, and household items. Photos, letters, and documents tell the story of his life and activities.
The house's interior is preserved: furniture, carpets, and furnishings reflect the style and culture of that era. The museum's artifacts demonstrate the historical significance of the region and the country.
The Atatürk House Museum plays a key role in preserving Turkey's cultural and historical heritage. The museum is open daily, except on public holidays. Admission is usually free or symbolic. Visiting the museum allows you to see the personal belongings of the great leader and learn more about Turkey
