Description
Dim Çayı (Dim River) is a river that originates in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains and flows into the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the most visited natural attractions in Alanya due to its refreshing air and water in all seasons. Located just 15 km from the center of Alanya, the river attracts many tourists and locals who come here for picnics and relaxation. Along the river, there are numerous restaurants, cafes, and tea gardens where you can try fresh trout and enjoy traditional Turkish cuisine. Some establishments offer unique tables set directly in the water, allowing you to cool off even on the hottest days. Opportunities for active recreation include swimming in artificial pools, water slides, and rafting on the upper parts of the river. For nature lovers and those who enjoy walking in the surroundings, daily trekking and safari tours to the Dim villages are organized.
