Dutch delegation hosted in Alanya

Corendon Tourism, the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), and the Cultural and Promotion Attache from The Hague organized a hosting program for Dutch travel agency officials, sales staff, and press representatives. They were invited to Alanya to experience the region's tourism potential and the opportunities it offers throughout the four seasons.

As part of Corendon's large-scale capacity planning and promotional activities from the Netherlands to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP), travel agencies, sales staff, and press representatives from the Netherlands arrived in Alanya between September 13 and 16. During the three-day program, the guests explored Alanya’s various tourism opportunities and were informed about the region’s offerings across all seasons. The guests experienced Alanya’s natural and cultural riches and had the chance to taste certified agricultural products. The Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV) also contributed significantly to the program. Additionally, the delegation was hosted at a dinner attended by Alanya Deputy Mayor Servet Ünlü, Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD) President Burhan Sili, TGA and ALTAV Board Member Şükrü Cimrin, and ALTAV Board Members Alper Gencelli and Yakup Uslu. Before the dinner, Mustafa Kemal Can Fedai gave a comprehensive presentation on cycling events held in Alanya.

Şükrü Cimrin: "Our Collaborations are Advancing Alanya"

Şükrü Cimrin, a Board Member of TGA and ALTAV, commented on the organization: "Corendon Tourism’s plan to use Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport as a base is a very significant decision. To achieve the planned capacity, we conducted a three-day program with the visiting delegation, aimed at promoting the Alanya region. Such receptions help advance Alanya in high-quality tourism marketing. By introducing the region’s potential and opportunities to a broader audience, we contribute to both regional tourism and our country’s tourism strategy. These collaborations will strengthen Alanya’s position in tourism. We owe our thanks to Pınar Bilgen Ermiş, the Cultural and Promotion Attache from The Hague, for her substantial contribution to the preparation and execution of the program on behalf of ALTAV and Alanya. Additionally, TGA conducts many receptions throughout the year to welcome tourists from around the world. This collaboration was very important, and we extend our gratitude to Corendon Tourism, TGA, and the Cultural and Promotion Attache from The Hague for their organization."
