Price hike storm in Antalya: The municipality did not hold back! What has seen price increases in Alanya?

At the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality’s September Council Meeting, it was decided to increase the fees for some kindergartens and municipal areas such as the Natural Life Park. These price hikes, driven by rising costs, will impact both local residents and tourists. All these increases will also affect Alanya.

According to the decisions made at the meeting, entrance fees to the Antalya Natural Life Park have significantly increased. The pedestrian entrance fee has risen from 7 TL to 15 TL, student entrance from 2 TL to 5 TL, and adult tourist entrance has been raised to 200 TL. Additionally, the popular tourist spot, Tazı Canyon, is now also subject to an entrance fee. The entrance fee is now 35 TL per person, and for students, it is 20 TL.

Additional services in Tazı Canyon, such as photography and drone shooting, will also be charged separately. Photography will cost 175 TL, and drone shooting will cost 900 TL. Furthermore, the prices of breakfast items and drinks offered within the canyon have also increased.

The price hikes are attributed to the rising costs faced by the municipality, making access to various services in Antalya more expensive. Kindergartens are also affected by these price increases, which has sparked discussions among Antalya residents.

These increases have made services, especially in tourist areas, economically more expensive, making access to trips and entertainment areas more challenging for many people.
