The Freediving 2024 CMAS World Cup was held in Kaş, Antalya, from September 17 to 20, 2024, with the participation of 22 athletes from different countries. After four days of breathtaking competitions, world freediving record holder Şahika Ercümen won gold medals in all categories she participated in.

The national athlete achieved first place by diving 86 meters in the constant weight category, 77 meters in the bi-fins category, 76 meters in the no fins with rope support category, and 46 meters in the no fins constant weight category.

At the award ceremony, Ercümen expressed her feelings: "This year, I have won more than 10 medals in three international competitions and one Turkish championship. I have another important international tournament ahead of me in October in Greece. With the motivation from this championship, I aim to increase my training and win the gold medal for our country at the world championship in Greece."

The national athlete will represent Turkey at the CMAS World Freediving Championship, which will take place on October 2 in Greece.
