While it is emphasized that the frauds in food products can harm human health, the list of companies engaging in imitation and adulteration was updated again on October 8. Recently, food prices and the frauds in food products have been frequently discussed. These companies, which threaten health, present different and harmful products to citizens, thus endangering public health. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to expose these companies to protect food safety. As of October 2, companies and products engaging in fraud are shared daily on the official website. According to Turkey Newspaper, the list published on the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's website, "guvenilirgida.tarimorman.gov.tr," openly announces the frauds committed by these companies. The names of the products, brands, and details of the frauds are presented to the public. The latest revelations have highlighted the significant risks that may exist in the foods that citizens think they consume safely. The exposure of health-risking frauds, such as the use of poultry meat in raw Adana kebab and Kangal sausage, has raised great concern among consumers.
