In Antalya, a young man addicted to drugs was killed in front of his house

A young man sitting in front of a building in Muratpaşa was shot and killed by an unknown assailant.

Ahmet Yusuf Kaçarlar, 22, was shot and killed when unknown person(s) opened fire in front of his apartment building on 2851 Street in the Yeşildere neighborhood around 3:00 AM. The assailants began shooting at the building, and Kaçarlar, sitting outside, was struck by the bullets and couldn’t escape. Paramedics confirmed that he had died at the scene. Since he had no identification on him, police took his fingerprints and identified him as Ahmet Yusuf Kaçarlar.

Mother's Heartbreaking Grief

Kaçarlar's family, notified by the police, arrived at the morgue in the morning, devastated by the news. His mother, Çiğdem Tekin, broke down, crying, “It’s not him, they’re lying,” after identifying the body. When the body was handed over, she screamed, “Oh my God,” while leaning against the morgue wall, overcome with grief. The funeral will take place at Döşemealtı Yeniköy Cemetery.

Revealed Drug Addiction

The Antalya Police Homicide Bureau has launched an extensive investigation to apprehend the suspects. It was also revealed that Ahmet Yusuf Kaçarlar had a drug addiction and rarely visited his home.
