Alanya's Toprak Razgatlıoğlu is back on the track in Spain, aiming for his second world championship title

National motorcyclist Toprak Razgatlıoğlu has one race left to declare his World Superbike Championship title.

In 2024, Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, an athlete of Red Bull, is competing in the championship race in Spain at the World Superbike Championship (WSBK), one of the most prestigious motorsport events in the world. If Toprak finishes in the top three during the first day of racing at the Jerez Circuit in Spain, he will declare his championship title without regard to the results of his competitors. This year, racing with the BMW Rokit team and dominating nearly all the races he has participated in, the national motorcyclist is on track for the championship, maintaining a 46-point lead over his closest rival.

The 28-year-old national athlete continues to be the strongest candidate for the championship despite missing two races due to an injury sustained during training in France. Razgatlıoğlu has reached 473 points, maintaining his lead in the overall standings. His closest competitor, Italian rider Nicolo Bulega, follows with 427 points.

Red Bull athletes Bahattin Sofuoğlu and Can Öncü, competing in the World Supersport Championship, will also take to the track for the podium.
