"Effective Communication" training held at Alanya State Hospital

At Alanya Training and Research Hospital, a training session on "Effective communication techniques and their importance, body language, and stress management methods" was held for healthcare personnel.

As part of in-service training activities, a seminar was organized in the hospital's conference hall for medical secretaries, patient reception-consultation staff, and security personnel. Associate Professor Ayşe Sibel Biçer from Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University's (ALKÜ) Faculty of Education participated as a speaker. In the training, Biçer emphasized that in addition to treating patients, establishing proper communication and building good relationships with them is equally important. She provided information on the significance of communication in modern patient and employee satisfaction, communication skills, common mistakes in communication, and interpersonal communication skills. Associate Professor Ayşe Sibel Biçer stated, "It is a widely accepted belief among healthcare professionals that proper and effective communication with patients and their relatives contributes positively to the treatment process. To provide better healthcare services, clear and correct communication must be established." The training then continued in a question-and-answer format.
