ALTSO Provides Meaningful Support for Education
As in previous years, the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) contributed to the student assistance provided by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and delivered it to students in need this year.
ALTSO President Eray Erdem stated that they provided tracksuits and sports equipment to 561 students at Payallar Primary School, which operates under a transportation-based education system.
"In addition to our efforts for the economy of Alanya, we also place great importance on social responsibility projects," he said.
ERDEM: "WE SUPPORTED 561 STUDENTS"
President Erdem, accompanied by Alanya District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer, District National Education Director Yusuf Yılmaz, ALTSO Assembly Chairman Mehmet Kural, ALTSO Board Members Hakkı Uysal, Mesut Ersoy, Adil Memiş, and ALTSO Disciplinary Committee Member Ali Orkan, visited Payallar Primary School and noted that their traditional school assistance program was carried out this year as well.
President Erdem explained: "By supplementing the assistance provided by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey with funds from our chamber's budget, we provided tracksuits and sports equipment to 561 students at Payallar Primary School, which operates under a transportation-based education system. We shared in the joy of these wonderful children. During our visit, we gathered information from the school principal and esteemed teachers about the school and its students, and discussed how we could contribute more to education.
I would like to thank TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer, District National Education Director Yusuf Yılmaz, School Principal Yusuf Demirkaya, Payallar’s headman Ahmet Kaya, and the dedicated teachers for their contributions. As the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we will continue to support social responsibility projects alongside addressing the concerns of our business community and conducting economic activities," he said.
DISTRICT GOVERNOR ÜRKMEZER EXPRESSES GRATITUDE
Expressing his gratitude to ALTSO President Eray Erdem and the board for their support, District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer said:
"We are working together with all our institutions, chamber presidents, and NGOs to support our students. Today, along with the ALTSO management, we visited Payallar Primary School and distributed tracksuits and sports equipment traditionally provided by the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry to students every year. We thank ALTSO President Eray Erdem, the management, and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey for their support. We will continue to work with all our stakeholders to enhance the education of our students," he said.
District National Education Director Yusuf Yılmaz also emphasized that ALTSO President Eray Erdem and his team have always contributed to education and expressed his gratitude for their support.
