A bucket used for heating in Alanya exploded like a bomb

In Alanya, at the wholesale vegetable and fruit market, a bucket used for heating exploded, causing panic among the workers.

Interesting moments occurred at the Alanya vegetable and fruit wholesale market. According to the information received, early in the morning, workers lit a fire in a bucket to warm up. The bucket exploded when the concrete started to heat up in the cold weather. Three people sitting around the bucket to warm up didn’t realize what had happened and quickly ran away from the explosion. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the explosion and the moments of fleeing were recorded by a security camera.

Eyewitness Orhan Metin, who heard a loud explosion from a neighboring shop at the vegetable and fruit market, said, “This is something that happens at such markets, and really all over Turkey: in the morning, workers light a fire to warm up. The explosion happened because the concrete on the ground started heating up. No one was injured, and there was no damage. We found out about the incident when we heard the explosion.
