ALGC Management, Led by President Ferit Kesen, Held a Series of Meetings in Alanya Yesterday
The management of the Alanya Active Journalists Association (ALGC), led by President Ferit Kesen, held a series of meetings in Alanya yesterday. During the visit, AKP District Chairman Mehmet Şarani Tavlı made striking statements, discussing investments that have been made and are planned for the city, and also gave good news for the construction and real estate sectors.
100,000 DOLLAR GOOD NEWS
The ALGC delegation started the day with a visit to Alanya Deputy Mayor Sadık Dizdaroğlu, where they exchanged views on current developments in the city. Later, they visited AKP Alanya District Chairman Mehmet Şarani Tavlı and his team. During the visit, Tavlı highlighted the investments being made in Alanya and gave signals of a development that would ease the construction and real estate sectors. Tavlı stated that a new regulation is expected to address the recent problems of the sector due to residency issues, and mentioned that the condition for obtaining residency, which is currently set at 200,000 dollars, will be reduced to 100,000 dollars.
EXPROPRIATION HAS STARTED
Tavlı also commented on the North Ring Road project of Alanya, which is being carried out by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. He stated that the requests for a cloverleaf interchange have been met and that Alanya Municipality has started expropriation work for the interchange to be included in the project. He expressed satisfaction with this development and said they would follow the process closely. Tavlı reminded that the request for the cloverleaf interchange was made during the term of Adem Murat Yücel, and that the General Directorate of Highways had asked Alanya Municipality to carry out the expropriation. He added that the expropriation work was postponed until after the elections, but the new administration has now started the process. Tavlı emphasized that the construction of the cloverleaf interchange is important due to the university, the relocation of the industrial zone, and the warehouses in the Dimçayı area. He stated, "We hope that the interchange will be completed before the ring road project is finished. Additionally, the concreting and infrastructure works for the tunnels have been completed. Only the asphalting is left, but since the connection roads have not been opened yet, the project is not operational. These areas are also waiting for the connection roads."
ALANYA LEADING IN HEALTHCARE
Tavlı also spoke about the healthcare investments in the city, stating that the Payallar State Hospital project will alleviate the burden on Alanya Education and Research Hospital. Additionally, work is ongoing for a 50-bed oncology hospital and an additional service building for Alanya Education and Research Hospital. Tavlı emphasized that with its medical faculty hospital and other healthcare institutions, Alanya is ahead of many other cities in the field of healthcare.
ALGC'S CONGRATULATORY VISIT
The ALGC delegation later visited Gazi Öten, the new head of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Alanya District Services Branch, to wish him success in his new role. They continued their visit by meeting with Mustafa Sünbül, the Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Alanya District, at his office. Sünbül provided information to the association members about the party's organizational work and expressed his pleasure at the visit.
The delegation's final stop was at the Alanya Muhtars Association, where they visited Rüştü Vural, who was recently elected president during the general assembly. The ALGC management extended their congratulations to Vural.
SECTOR WELCOMES THE NEWS WITH JOY
Abdullah Tuncer, Chairman of the Alanya Real Estate Brokers Association (ALEKOD), stated, "One of the most important issues in our city, which is the most popular for foreign property investors in Turkey, is the residency restriction applied on a neighborhood basis. Our second priority was the reduction of the 200,000-dollar threshold for residency permits. The news we received through the media that this threshold will be reduced to 100,000 dollars is a very positive step for our sector. Once the details of the change are clear, we will express our views on its effectiveness. However, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this process on behalf of myself and my sector."
SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TO THE ECONOMY
Mustafa Küçüker, Chairman of the Alanya Contractors Union (MÜTBİR), emphasized that the changes will have a serious impact on the economy of Alanya. He said, "Our goal is to attract more investors to Alanya and contribute to the economy. We believe that reducing the residency restriction to 100,000 dollars will provide a significant contribution to the economy. We also request the reopening of the closed areas. The foreigner density in these areas has now fallen below the criteria, and they are now in a position to be reopened."
