Strict inspections for hotels and dormitories are coming to Alanya

A coordination meeting on hotel and dormitory inspections in Alanya was held under the chairmanship of District Governor Fatih Ürkmezer.

The meeting, held at the Alanya District Governor’s Office, was attended by Governor Ürkmezer, Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik, representatives from the Police Department, Gendarmerie, District Directorate of Youth and Sports, Municipal Inspection, Tourism Information Bureau, and Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department.

During the meeting, the decisions made at the Provincial Coordination Board meeting in Antalya regarding accommodation and tourism facilities were evaluated. The inspections of hotels and dormitories in Alanya were discussed, and ideas were exchanged regarding ongoing efforts. The Tourism Inspection and Security Commission provided Governor Ürkmezer with information about various inspections conducted in hotels throughout the year.

Following the meeting, Governor Fatih Ürkmezer made a statement, emphasizing that they continue to work in coordination with all institutions in Alanya:

“Yesterday, we attended the Provincial Coordination Board meeting chaired by Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin. During the meeting, inspections of accommodation facilities, tourism businesses, and the food and beverage sector across the province were evaluated. Today, we met with the relevant institutions in Alanya to discuss inspections of hotels and dormitories. The Tourism Inspection and Security Commission continues to carry out various inspections of hotels and accommodation facilities throughout the year without interruption. We will continue to closely monitor this process. We will not tolerate any negligence that could endanger the safety of our citizens. Ensuring peace and security is our top priority. We will continue working in cooperation with all institutions to maintain Alanya’s safety.”
