Alanya Gendarmerie teams captured a suspect with 19 criminal records who had been on the run for 8 years.

The Alanya District Gendarmerie teams added another successful operation to their meticulous efforts to capture wanted criminals. As a result of intelligence work carried out by the 9th and 25th JASAT teams under the Konaklı Gendarmerie Station Command, E.G., who had a total prison sentence of 20 years and 8 months and had been wanted for 8 years, was captured in the Konaklı neighborhood by the gendarmerie. E.G. was wanted for 19 crimes, including drug use, intentional injury, armed threats, armed robbery, possession of an unlicensed weapon, endangering traffic safety, and attempted murder. The suspect was taken into custody upon the instruction of the public prosecutor and, after being referred to the court, was arrested and sent to prison. The Alanya District Gendarmerie Command teams continue their round-the-clock efforts to ensure the peace and security of the city.
