In Alanya, efforts to find a solution to the residency permit issue are ongoing

Hopes for a solution to the long-standing residency permit issue in Alanya have been renewed. Eray Erdem, the President of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), stated that the Directorate General of Migration Management is evaluating reports regarding the situation in the city and is working to find a solution by the end of the year. The residency issue, which negatively affects the tourism and real estate sectors, is also experienced in areas like Kestel and Avsallar, where the foreign population has dropped below 20%. This situation puts local businesses and foreign investors in a difficult position.

Mustafa Küçüker, the President of the Contractors Association, emphasized that the residency issue adversely affects the daily lives of citizens and highlighted the importance of finding a solution.
