Kandilli Observatory reported the intensity of the earthquake felt in many provinces, including western Antalya, as 4.4. The epicenter of the tremor was reported to be in the Mediterranean near the island of Crete. The Earthquake Research Institute also announced the magnitude of the earthquake as 4.4.
