In Antalya, Kıvanç Şensöz (31) punched and kicked florist Eşref Yunus Yıldırıcı (29), who shared a photo of his foreign national wife, who is a florist, with flowers on his own social media account. Yıldırıcı, who is receiving treatment at the hospital, is in serious condition, while Şensöz, who was taken into custody, was arrested. The attack was recorded by a security camera.
The incident took place at around 19:00 on October 12 in a flower warehouse in Altınova Neighborhood, Kepez district. Kıvanç Şensöz's foreign national wife, who is a sports instructor and a bodyguard at bars, sells flowers on different accounts and pages they created on the social media platform. Eşref Yunus Yıldırıcı, his sister Firdevs Yıldırıcı (25) and their father Muhammet Yıldırıcı (60), who have been working as florists in the same region for years, also share photos of flowers and bouquets on social media accounts they opened and offer them for sale. Firdevs Yıldırıcı took a screenshot of a flower photo and shared it on her workplace's social media accounts the other day. Kıvanç Şensöz, who saw the photo shared by Yıldırıcı, whose face was not clearly visible, reacted by saying, "Why are you sharing my wife's photo, you are a thief of labor."
HE DROPPED IT WITH A PUNCH, KICKED IT MANY TIMES
Firdevs Yıldırıcı apologized after the reaction, stating that the woman's face in the photo was blurred, cropped, and that she made a mistake. Kıvanç Şensöz wanted to meet face to face with Eşref Yunus Yıldırıcı, who she claimed made the mistake, and went to the flower warehouse. When Eşref Yunus Yıldırıcı went to apologize, Şensöz suddenly punched Yıldırıcı and knocked him to the ground. Şensöz, who kicked Yıldırıcı several times, was saved by his uncle Ali Okur. The police and medical teams were called for Yıldırıcı, who could not get up from the ground. The medical team, who arrived shortly after, took Yıldırıcı, who was unconscious, to Kepez State Hospital. It was reported that Eşref Yunus Yıldırıcı had a brain hemorrhage and was in critical condition. Kıvanç Şensöz, who was taken into custody, was arrested by the court he was brought to.

The footage shows Kıvanç Şensöz suddenly punching Eşref Yunus Yıldırıcı who entered the warehouse and kicking him after he fell to the ground. During the incident, uncle Ali Okur, who heard the sounds and came running, intervened and when Kıvanç Şensöz asked, "What did you do?", it was captured on the footage that Kıvanç Şensöz said, "If he shares my wife's photos, this is what will happen." When asked, "Is he sane?", Şensöz replied, "No," and a woman screamed.

Firdevs Yıldırıcı, who did not leave her brother's side in the hospital, stated that the person who caused the incident was their former neighbor. Yıldırıcı said, “We and they both sell flowers on social media and the internet. We like their flowers. Because they make beautiful bouquets. Their social media profiles are open to everyone. Some of our customers send us their photos and say, 'Can you make flowers like these?' We say, 'We can.' He shared a photo of his wife in a t-shirt on his public profile. However, he said, 'You shared my wife's inappropriate parts' and this happened. I normally do not answer the calls that come towards midnight. My brother answers the phone and says, 'Aren't you Okur's nephew? How could you share these photos of my wife? How could you crop them?' My brother says, 'I have nothing to do with this. My sister manages our social media accounts, many of our company accounts.' He also curses me saying, 'You did it, I will break your neck. Don't come in front of me. It will be very bad if you do'. We say, 'Brother, I apologize,' but he spoke in a way like 'Give me your location, I will come'".

Yıldırıcı, who stated that his uncle intervened and tried to find a middle ground, said, “A day later, my uncle says, 'Come, let's talk and find a middle ground'. After that, Kıvanç Şensöz enters the warehouse without my brother seeing him and my brother thinks he will talk to him. My uncle is not there at that time, he is standing in the big warehouse. That man starts hitting my brother as soon as he sees him. My uncle and cousins come when they hear voices. Frankly, we are in shock".
DOCTORS SAY TO BE PREPARED FOR ANY SITUATION
Firdevs Yıldırıcı, who stated that her brother's condition is critical, said, “Doctors say, 'Be prepared for any situation'. My brother did not deserve this. He shares the photo we shared on his public profile and also criticizes me for sharing it. He was a boxer and a bodyguard. He always worked on the brain, there are fatal blows. Frankly, I don't want that man to be released from prison. I don't have any security of life either," he said. Yıldırıcı, who said that his uncle also had a heart attack after the incident, said, "He constantly talks about my brother. He is also in a difficult situation right now. His treatment continues in the hospital."

He was called in saying, ‘Come, let’s talk and apologize.’ Without saying anything, as soon as he entered the house, he was punched, knocked to the ground and then shot again. Then his uncle came and took him from his hand. I was also at the market when the incident happened. I left as soon as the news came, but I saw my child in the hospital. The child was still shaking. The doctors said that my child’s condition was serious and that ‘Be prepared for any moment.’ The doctors said, ‘If a car had hit this child’s skull, it wouldn’t have been damaged this much.’ I want him to receive a good sentence and serve time in prison”.
