Scary Hotel Fire in Antalya, 8 People Affected by Smoke

A fire broke out at a five-star hotel in Kemer, Antalya, affecting 8 people due to smoke inhalation.

The fire started for an undetermined reason in the restaurant section of the hotel.

The blaze quickly spread to other parts of the hotel, prompting numerous fire and medical teams to respond to the scene.

Approximately 550 guests were evacuated in the initial moments of the fire, while 48 people trapped by smoke were rescued using a crane.

Firefighters managed to bring the fire under control, and 8 individuals affected by smoke were taken to the hospital.

Kemer District Governor Ahmet Solmaz, who arrived to inspect the scene, stated that an investigation into the cause of the fire had been initiated and that the hotel guests would be relocated to another hotel.
