The cultural richness of Alanya was presented in Ankara

Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik participated in the Historic Towns Union and UNESCO Meeting held in Ankara.

The Historic Towns Union UNESCO Meeting program started in Ankara. The first day of the two-day program was attended by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Batuhan Mumcu, Chairman of the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO Öcal Oğuz, CHP Ankara Provincial Chairman Ümit Erkol, Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik, and other district mayors.

Mayor Özçelik stated that he was proud to represent Alanya's rich cultural heritage and added, "I believe in the power of both national and international cooperation to preserve our values and pass them on to future generations. As the Alanya Municipality, we will continue our work in this field with determination. I would like to thank everyone who organized and contributed to this meaningful event, especially Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş. We will represent Alanya’s historical heritage on every platform".
