In Alanya, a drunk driver with a strobe light installed on his car was heavily fined

During a traffic inspection conducted by the Alanya District Police Department, a vehicle equipped with a strobe light was stopped, and the driver was fined.

Police checks revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, had installed a strobe light on the vehicle, and was operating it without a valid inspection. The driver was fined under applicable laws as follows:

138,172 TL for installing a strobe light,

9,267 TL for driving under the influence of alcohol,

2,167 TL for operating a vehicle without an inspection.

The total fine amounted to 149,606 TL. The driver’s license was confiscated for 7 months, and the vehicle was banned from traffic for 1 month. Additionally, the strobe light device was confiscated by the traffic police and secured for public use.
