Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik, meeting with hoteliers, stated that they aim to promote sustainable tourism and move the city forward with a significant momentum in the tourism sector.

Osman Tarık Özçelik, President of the Alanya Municipality and the Alanya Tourism Promotion Foundation (ALTAV), met with leading figures from the tourism industry to increase Alanya's tourism potential. The meeting, held in the Okurcalar District, was attended by Burhan Sili, President of the Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD), Eray Erdem, President of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), municipal council members, and local hoteliers.

The meeting extensively discussed the current state of tourism in Alanya, the sector’s challenges, and potential solutions. Suggestions aimed at improving service quality in tourism were shared, and discussions focused on projects to highlight the region's natural, historical, and cultural richness. In his statement after the meeting, Mayor Özçelik emphasized that tourism is a major source of income for Alanya and confirmed that they would continue to develop sustainable projects for further growth of the sector.

Özçelik stated, "We had a productive meeting with the tourism professionals and exchanged many ideas. We aim to gain significant momentum in tourism through our city's natural beauties, historical, and cultural assets. During this process, each of our establishments warmly welcomes both local and foreign tourists, setting an example of hospitality. As the municipality, we are working collaboratively to promote sustainable tourism and provide the necessary support to businesses in the sector. Service quality and our visionary approaches are the biggest assurance of our rise in tourism. Together, we will move forward with confident steps to make our city a global brand".
