Bus fares in Alanya will be increased

After the fare hike in Istanbul, preparations have started for an increase in bus fares in Alanya as well. The amount and date of the increase will be announced shortly.

Following the fare hike in Istanbul, discussions have arisen about increasing transportation fees in Alanya. Tevfik Yılmaz, the President of the Alanya Private Public Bus Cooperative, stated that the necessary applications have been made and preparations are ongoing.

Applications for the fare hike have been submitted.

Yılmaz said, "Fuel prices have increased, and inflation is high. Therefore, we have started preparing for the fare hike and submitted our application. The head of the Transportation Department said that a decision would be made after the increases in Istanbul and Ankara. The hike in Istanbul has been announced, and ours will be announced soon."

Residents are eagerly awaiting how much the fare will increase and when the hike will come into effect.
