A police officer was injured again in Alanya: attempted to flee after the attack

In Alanya, a drunk motorcyclist who ignored a stop warning hit a police officer. The injured officer was taken to the hospital.

The incident occurred in the Fığla neighborhood. During a traffic inspection conducted by Alanya Police Department teams, motorcyclist O.C.K. (28) failed to comply with a stop warning and collided with police officer B.Ç. (52). The officer was injured as a result of the impact.

Bystanders and other police officers who saw the injured officer immediately reported the incident to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Medical and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.

The injured officer, B.Ç., was taken by ambulance to Alanya Training and Research Hospital. It was reported that his condition is not life-threatening. An alcohol test revealed that O.C.K. had a blood alcohol level of 1.36 per mille.

The motorcyclist, O.C.K., was detained by the gendarmerie.
