After the legal documents were prepared to fulfill his will, the respective papers were signed in the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yalçın Günal, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at ALKÜ, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seda Arslan, Head of the Department of Anatomy.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seda Arslan emphasized that the lack of cadavers is one of the biggest issues in medical education and noted that body donations are vital for medical education. Arslan expressed hope that, despite the lack of donations, awareness about this issue is increasing. She also stressed that the family’s consent is required for the donation to be processed after death. Arslan mentioned that thanks to these selfless acts, donors and their families make a significant contribution not only to medical students but also to everyone who receives healthcare services. She thanked Yusuf Kileci for bequeathing his body to the students of the Faculty of Medicine at ALKÜ and invited everyone to be more sensitive to body donations for the advancement of science.
