Danish Charter Airline Sunclass to Launch Direct Flights from Helsinki to Alanya

The Danish charter airline Sunclass has announced the launch of direct flights from Helsinki to Alanya.

Representing Alanya at the Matka Helsinki Tourism Fair, Mayor of Alanya and ALTAV President Osman Tarık Özçelik, Alanya Mayor’s Advisor and ALTAV Vice President Abdurrahman Açıkalın, Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and ALTAV Board Member Şükrü Cimrin, and ALTAV Board Member Gökçe Aydoğan Ergün held meetings with bureaucrats, travel agencies, and operator officials throughout the fair.

During discussions with Tjareborg Contract Manager Jessica Virtanien, it was revealed that Sunclass will launch flights to Antalya Airport from Helsinki for the first time in 2025.

Virtanien emphasized that this decision will reflect positively on the numbers and noted that Alanya ranks first among the districts preferred by tourists arriving in Antalya. Additionally, the possibility of flights to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZ) was discussed.
