In Turkey, the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) has updated the "Selected Banking Sector Data by Provinces." In the revised list, some cities have climbed 7–8 places, and the ranking of Turkey's wealthiest provinces has become clearer.

Ranking of Turkey’s Richest Provinces

According to the latest data from BDDK, the wealthiest provinces in Turkey have been revealed. Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir secured the top three spots, while Antalya ranked 4th. Here is the ranking of provinces based on wealth:

Bayburt: 3 billion 999 million 489 thousand TL

Ardahan: 5 billion 651 million 593 thousand TL

Kilis: 6 billion 460 million 479 thousand TL

Hakkari: 6 billion 723 million 59 thousand TL

Gümüşhane: 8 billion 961 million 987 thousand TL

Mid-ranked provinces:

Istanbul maintains its clear leadership with a financial value of 7 trillion 304 billion 811 million 308 thousand TL. As Turkey's financial and trade hub, Istanbul continues to drive the country’s economy.

Ankara and Izmir in the top three

Ankara ranks 2nd with 2 trillion 330 billion 44 million 320 thousand TL, while Izmir takes 3rd place with 930 billion 601 million 644 thousand TL. Both cities stand out with their strong performances in industry, commerce, and the service sector.
