The banana price in Alanya made producers happy

Banana prices, which had been a topic of debate in Alanya, have increased. The banana price at the Alanya Market has been set at 52 TL.
In recent months, the prices set at the Alanya Market have sparked discussions. While the Alanya Market Association stated that they determine prices with producers in mind, producers themselves found the prices insufficient.
At today’s Ordinary General Assembly of the Alanya Market Association, banana prices were also discussed. As a result, the price was set at 52 TL. The President of the Alanya Chamber of Agriculture, Tahir Göktepe, thanked the President of the Alanya Market Association, Adem Kaya, for the decision, saying: "You have set the price of bananas at 52 TL. Our producers were waiting for this. We appreciate your sensitivity to this issue."
Adem Kaya also commented: "Sometimes, banana prices in Gazipaşa are 1 TL higher than ours. We see some people in the comments using inappropriate language to criticize us. But for a month now, tomatoes have been 5 TL more expensive here than in Gazipaşa, and cucumbers are also 5 TL higher. Three days ago, they lowered the price of eggplants by 5 TL below ours. We carefully assess the situation and do everything we can for the benefit of producers."
