As preparations for Ramadan Bayram continue in Alanya, there has been a price increase of up to 40% for sweets such as sugar, Turkish delight, chocolate, and baklava compared to last year. The prices of holiday outfits start from 1500 TRY.
Shopping for Ramadan Bayram in Alanya has gained momentum. Prices for sugar, Turkish delight, and chocolate have increased by up to 40% compared to last year. In 2024, sugar was sold between 100-150 TRY, while in 2025, it rose to 200-300 TRY. Prices for Turkish delight range from 100 to 250 TRY. Chocolate prices range from 200 to 950 TRY. The price of Turkish coffee has also risen to 600 TRY per kilogram.
As the markets and shopping areas are bustling with Bayram shopping, baklava prices have also drawn attention. Pistachio baklava is sold for 1000 TRY, and walnut baklava for 750 TRY. The prices of güllaç and dry cookies are around 500 TRY.
Clothing shopping is also in full swing, with holiday outfits starting at 1500 TRY. While shopkeepers in Alanya are smiling, high prices are making it difficult for citizens. However, the pre-holiday shopping frenzy continues.
