Floods in Alanya to be prevented with large pipes

The infrastructure in the Kadıpınarı section of the Değirmendere road, which is the shared road for four neighborhoods of Alanya, has been strengthened.

The Rural Services Department teams of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality continue their road maintenance, repair, and infrastructure work in Alanya. Due to insufficient infrastructure, the Kadıpınarı road, which turned into a waterfall during heavy rainfall, has been renovated. To solve the issue in the section connecting the Obaalacami, Bademağacı, Asmaca, and Değirmendere neighborhoods, the municipality replaced the inadequate water and rain drainage systems with larger pipes. During the pipe installation process, the road was closed but was reopened to traffic after the work was completed. In the winding sections of the road, shaving and expansion works are being carried out. After the expansion is completed, concrete work will be done in the areas where the work has been carried out.
