Major operation in Alanya! Simultaneous raids at 25 addresses

A criminal network that planned to distribute drugs obtained from Antalya, Şanlıurfa, and other provinces in Alanya has been dismantled following a simultaneous operation by the gendarmerie at 25 addresses. A total of 21 suspects were arrested.

Under the coordination of Alanya District Gendarmerie Command, Mahmutlar Gendarmerie Station Command, and the Narcotics and Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Departments of Antalya Provincial Gendarmerie Command, an operation was conducted against an organized crime network. According to intelligence reports, under the leadership of a suspect named M.K., the network was supplying drugs to Alanya from Antalya city center, Şanlıurfa, and other provinces. Following technical and physical surveillance, a successful operation was carried out the other day.

In a statement by the Alanya District Governor’s Office, it was reported: “As a result of the operations and follow-up investigations, suspects involved in ‘drug manufacturing and trafficking’ and those suspected of ‘drug use and possession’ were targeted in operations at 25 different addresses. All suspects engaged in drug trafficking were apprehended. During searches conducted at the addresses and on the suspects, 1 kg 750 g of methamphetamine, 45 g of smoked cannabis, 4,800 doses of synthetic cannabinoid (Bonzai A4), 40 synthetic drug pills, 3 hunting rifles, 1 detector, and 1 knife were seized. Out of the 27 suspects arrested as part of the narcotics surveillance operation, 21 were formally detained, while judicial control measures were applied to 6 suspects.
