Tragic incident in Alanya: Young woman with epilepsy died from suffocation

A 24-year-old woman with epilepsy died from suffocation during a seizure in Alanya.
In a tragic incident that occurred in Alanya’s Payallar neighborhood, the family of 24-year-old Yasemin Kiriş found her lying on the floor at home and immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon arrival, medical teams confirmed that the young woman had passed away.
IT WAS DETERMINED THAT SHE HAD A SEIZURE
An investigation revealed that Kiriş had epilepsy and died from suffocation after vomiting during a seizure.
