Forest fire disaster narrowly averted in Alanya

According to the information obtained, a fire broke out in the forest near the settlement in Sugözü District Akçakılık location in Alanya around 16.30 yesterday. After the local people noticed the situation and reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center, Alanya Forest Management Directorate and Alanya Fire Department teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams responded to the fire with 4 fire trucks and 1 water tanker. The teams took the fire under control before it spread to the houses and grew, and carried out cooling work. Approximately 2 acres were damaged in the fire.
