Alanya Has Left Turkey Behind with These Prices! On the Way to Becoming the Most Expensive

Following the nationwide surge in taxi meter and fare increases, attention has turned to Alanya. Ali Akkaya, the Chairman of the Drivers' Association, stated that there are no new fare increases in Alanya and that the tariffs have been recently updated.

After consecutive fare hikes for public transportation, the question of whether Alanya's taxi drivers will face an increase became a topic of interest. Addressing the concerns and clarifying the situation regarding fare increases, Ali Akkaya, Chairman of the Alanya Drivers' Association, said, "There are no increases for now."

Fare and Pickup: 130 TL

Emphasizing that Alanya already leads in taxi fares compared to other cities, with a rate of 37.5 TL per kilometer, President Akkaya discussed the taxi fares: “The base fare is 25 TL, the rate per kilometer is 37.5 TL, and the pickup and drop-off fare is 130 TL. We recently increased the fares. There are no new fare increases at the moment. In large cities like Istanbul, the rate per kilometer was lower, which has slightly increased the rates here. In Alanya, these figures are already higher. There hasn't been a major increase in fuel prices either. Therefore, there will be no fare increase for taxis at this time.”
