Jahrein was detained in Antalya

The Antalya Police Department announced that Ahmet Sonuç, known on social media as Jahrein, has been detained and an investigation has been initiated against him on charges of obscenity. Jahrein's remarks about his wife’s sister during a Twitch stream had drawn backlash on social media.

In an official statement from the Antalya Police Department, it was said: “In open sources such as the chat room titled 'Incel sohbet odası', conversations were found that were not in accordance with the general moral and value judgments of society.”

The statement continued: “In response to reports in some media outlets and social media accounts about obscene content and broadcasts conducted over the internet, the following clarification is deemed necessary.

In open sources such as the chat room titled 'Incel sohbet odası', conversations that did not align with societal moral and value standards were conducted using the account named 'Rockerpuck_Evil' and the pseudonym 'Pungent 666'.

Upon review, it was determined that the account under the name 'Rockerpuck_Evil' and pseudonym 'Pungent 666' was operated by an individual named (E.K.).

Additionally, it was found that similar obscene conversations were conducted by the user named 'Jahrein' on the social media platform 'Visite!', and this user was identified as an individual named (A.S.).”
