In Alanya, September 19th Veterans Day was celebrated with a ceremony

September 19th Veterans Day was celebrated in Alanya with a wreath-laying ceremony attended by District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer.

The ceremony, held at Atatürk Square, was attended by Alanya District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer, Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik, Alanya Garrison Commander Infantry Colonel Hakan Dinçer, Alanya Chief Public Prosecutor Celal Tekin, Acting Rector of ALKÜ Prof. Dr. Atıf Bayramoğlu, veterans, heads of institutions, politicians, chamber presidents, NGO representatives, and citizens.

The ceremony began with the wreath-laying, during which Governor Ürkmezer, Mayor Özçelik, Garrison Commander Hakan Dinçer, and the President of the Veterans Association Abdullah Yılmaz laid wreaths at the Atatürk Monument. Following the wreath-laying, the program continued with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem, concluding with a speech by the President of the Alanya War Veterans Association, Cyprus Veteran Abdullah Yılmaz, about the significance and importance of the day.
