Market vendors in Alanya are reacting against the price hike

The price increase rates approved by the budget commission at the Alanya Municipality Council Meeting have caused dissatisfaction among market vendors. It was learned that vendors are planning to protest after the cleaning tax increased to 3,000 TL and the transfer fee was raised by 100 times. Vendors are discussing the possibility of blocking the Alanya Ring Road and not opening their stalls on Fridays.
President of the Market Vendors' Chamber, Hüseyin Gök, made a statement regarding the price hikes, calling on vendors to remain calm and stating that they will seek their rights through legal means. Gök said, "We will seek our rights legally. However, I am against protests and not opening stalls".
