Alanya teams are on duty! The streets are being sprayed!

The Antalya Metropolitan Municipality continues its mosquito control operations in Alanya. Teams are conducting extensive spraying, cleaning the streets from pests.

Teams from the Department of Environmental Protection and Control of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality are spraying to remove mosquitoes and other pests from the streets. Complaints from locals about the abundance of mosquitoes and flies have been addressed. Comprehensive spraying is being carried out in every corner of the streets.

Active work in 102 neighborhoods of Alanya

In the process, 221 personnel, 85 teams, and 26 vehicles are involved. In addition to physical methods, chemical and biological control measures are being taken. Especially in the central neighborhoods, rainwater drains, sewage systems, stagnant water areas, garbage containers, building basements, and unused pools are being sprayed one by one. Every potential breeding ground for pests is being thoroughly treated.

Complaints about houseflies

The problems with houseflies, frequently raised by citizens, have been resolved. In recent years, houseflies have increased significantly, and in addition to chemical treatments, traps have been placed in certain areas. The active work in the city center will soon come to an end.

Spraying continues in Damlataş, Kızılkule, the Municipality, and more

Spraying in Damlataş, the Museum, the Municipality, Kızılkule, central markets, and areas behind the castle has been completed. The spraying teams will begin their work at the Friday Market and in the city center shortly.
