Training Seminar for Alanya Municipality Enforcement Personnel

A seminar schedule has been organized for 5 days to improve the quality of service provided by the Alanya Municipality Enforcement Department personnel to the public. The aim is for enforcement teams to solve issues with citizens in a more professional manner. In order to provide better service to citizens, in-house training for municipal staff continues. As part of this, a 5-day seminar schedule has been organized for enforcement personnel. The seminars, held in partnership with Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) at the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) Conference Hall, will cover topics such as Persuasion Psychology and Conflict Resolution Skills for Enforcement Officers, Effective Communication Skills, Body Language, Public Relations, Anger Management, Courtesy, and Etiquette. The training will be delivered by expert educators, including Prof. Dr. Mustafa Uslu from the ALKÜ Faculty of Education Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department, Assoc. Dr. Ramazan Gök from the Mediterranean University Faculty of Educational Sciences, and Assoc. Dr. Sociologist Fatih Uslu from the Mediterranean University Faculty of Education. The seminar aims to improve the quality of service provided by enforcement personnel, to solve communication issues with citizens using more professional approaches, to manage stress and anger, and to raise awareness of effective decision-making. Additionally, topics such as communication, body language, empathy-sympathy, persuasion, courtesy, and etiquette will also be addressed.

FIRST SEMINAR HELD The first of the seminars, which will continue throughout the week, took place today. Enforcement personnel received training on "Persuasion Psychology and Conflict Resolution Skills for Enforcement Officers." The seminar, which was conducted in two sessions, was attended by Alanya Deputy Mayor Ali Yenialp, Enforcement Director Naci Uzunsakal, and enforcement personnel. In the training provided by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Uslu from the ALKÜ Faculty of Education Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department, many topics were explained in detail, including What is Persuasion Psychology for Enforcement Officers, What is Conflict Resolution, Why are Conflict Resolution Skills Important, Basic Persuasion Techniques and Their Effects, the "Small First, Then Big" Technique, the "Not Only That" Technique, the "Yes-Yes" Technique, the "Which Technique, Not Maybe," and the "Answering a Question with a Question" Technique, among others.
