For the 13th time, the Flavors of Anatolia gathered in Antalya

With the support of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and hosted by the Antalya Commodity Exchange, the opening ceremony of the 13th Local Products Fair (YÖREX) was held.

The 13th Local Products Fair (YÖREX), organized with the support of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and hosted by the Antalya Commodity Exchange, opened under the motto "What is your region famous for?" YÖREX brings together hundreds of local products from all over Anatolia. The fair features booths of NGOs, development agencies, producer unions, and companies. The five-day YÖREX Fair aims to showcase Anatolia's rich cultural diversity and to help hundreds of local products, most of which are geographically registered, gain a larger presence in national and international markets.

The opening of the fair, held at Antalya ANFAŞ Exhibition Center and attended by a large crowd, was graced by the presence of Governor Hulusi Şahin, Antalya MP Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Governors of Bilecik, Burdur, Düzce, and Isparta, Antalya Mayor Muhittin Böcek, Rector of Akdeniz University Prof. Dr. Özlenen Özkan, TOBB Chairman of the Board M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Antalya Commodity Exchange Chairman Ali Çandır, ATSO Chairman Yusuf Hacısüleyman, Turkish Patent and Trademark Institution President Prof. Dr. Muhammed Zeki Durak, district governors, mayors, institution directors, and many citizens.

YÖREX is a summary of our culture and civilization

In his opening speech, Governor Şahin expressed that YÖREX is a very meaningful and important event, stating, "Our national journey, which began in distant Asia and continues towards the Balkans, has lasted for approximately 2,500 years. Over these 2,500 years, we have grown into one of the most significant civilizations in the world, much like a small river expanding with its tributaries. Our culture and cuisine have crowned this greatness. In this sense, YÖREX is a very valuable event that tells us about ourselves."

YÖREX is an exemplary and pioneering brand

Governor Şahin also emphasized the importance of branding: "To understand the value of events like YÖREX and increase their commercial potential, branding is essential. YÖREX has been a valuable starting point for this. I would like to thank all the development agencies and everyone who contributed to this branding process, particularly the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır." After his speech, Governor Şahin, along with protocol members, cut the opening ribbon of the fair. He then toured the stands at the fair, conversing with producers and receiving information about the products.
