TUIK announced: What is the ranking of real estate sales in Antalya and Alanya?
The Ministry of Environment, Urban Planning, and Climate Change has released data on the cities with the highest real estate sales this year. Antalya ranked fifth on the list, following Bursa.
According to data published by the Ministry of Environment, Urban Planning, and Climate Change, along with the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre (TKGM), the cities with the highest real estate sales have been revealed. According to the data, Istanbul had the highest number of real estate sales this year with 326,737 transactions, accounting for 9% of total sales in the country.
ANTALYA RANKED FIFTH
Ankara ranked second with 197,929 real estate sales. The capital city, ranking second among major cities, was followed by Izmir with 132,809 sales, Bursa with 102,950 sales, and Antalya with 101,726 sales.
ALANYA DID NOT MAKE IT TO THE TOP FIVE DISTRICTS
The districts with the highest real estate sales in 2024 have also been identified. The Şehitkamil district in Gaziantep, located in the earthquake zone, had the highest number of transactions with 29,437 sales. Esenyurt in Istanbul ranked second with 28,803 sales. Şahinbey in Gaziantep ranked third with 27,173 sales, Çankaya, the most populous district of Ankara, ranked fourth with 25,026 sales, and Nilüfer in Bursa ranked fifth with 23,288 sales.
Throughout 2024, a total of 2,822,712 properties were sold in Turkey. A large portion of these sales were in residential real estate. Residential sales accounted for 1,256,901 units, making up a significant portion of all real estate transactions.
