The chief physician made a statement about the fire victims
In Alanya, three workers were hospitalized after a fire broke out in a 10-story building that was previously used as residential housing and later converted into a hotel.
The fire occurred during renovation work at the 10-story building, which was converted into a hotel in the Cikcilli district. Of the four workers affected by the fire, three were hospitalized, along with a firefighter who fell from a height during firefighting efforts. A cat affected by the fire was rescued and taken to a veterinary clinic for treatment.
In a written statement, Yılmaz Güler, the Chief Physician of Alanya Education and Research Hospital, stated that three construction workers and one firefighter were brought to the hospital. Güler mentioned that the workers affected by the smoke had no burns and provided the following details: "Two of the patients affected by smoke have been admitted to the observation ward, while one is receiving treatment in the second-level general intensive care unit. Oxygen therapy is ongoing for the patients, and their condition is stable. The firefighter, who fell from a height of 4-5 meters during the fire intervention, was immediately treated in our emergency department. No trauma related to the fall was detected. After undergoing tests and receiving treatment, he was discharged".
