Get ready! License inspections are starting in Alanya
The Municipality of Alanya will begin conducting license inspections for tourism enterprises with a Simple Accommodation Tourism Business Certificate in line with the instructions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
In accordance with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's instructions, license inspections will begin for Simple Accommodation Facilities. In this context, the validity of business opening and operation licenses for businesses operating in the district will be carefully checked, and legal actions as specified by the Ministry will be taken against unlicensed or incompletely documented facilities.

It is also very important for all businesses to be prepared for the inspections and to present their licenses and other documents completely. We announce that this process will be carried out with the utmost seriousness in order to maintain the prestige and reliability of tourism in Alanya.
WHY ARE INSPECTIONS BEING CONDUCTED?
Recently, there has been an increase in complaints regarding unlicensed or non-compliant accommodation establishments, which has become a significant issue for both tourist safety and the regulation of the industry. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has instructed municipalities to increase inspections of accommodation facilities and suspend operations of non-compliant businesses. The Municipality of Alanya, fulfilling its responsibilities, is starting the necessary inspections to ensure that facilities operate within the legal framework and to enhance tourism security.
WHEN WILL THE INSPECTIONS BEGIN?
The inspections will begin on February 10th, and the collected data will be sent to the Antalya Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism by the end of the working day on February 14th, 2025.
WHAT SHOULD BUSINESSES DO?
Check your business opening and operating licenses. If your licenses are missing or invalid, contact the relevant departments of the municipality immediately to make the necessary arrangements. Your licenses and other documents should be fully prepared for inspection during the process. You can get information from the municipality to check the current status of your documents.
LEGAL ACTIONS
As per the Ministry's instructions, businesses with invalid licenses will have their Simple Accommodation Tourism Business Certificates revoked. Facilities operating with incomplete or invalid documents will be required to close. Legal actions will be taken against businesses not complying with the regulations.
